Rocking in the rain at the Fresno County Fair
Saw the Little Ol' Band From Texas last night at the Big Fair in Fresno. We were worried it would be rained out and there was some threatening drizzle but hey, these guys are from Houston, where a sunny day can turn into a deluge in no time. You know what they say in Texas..."If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes." Of course, after the last two summers, that may not apply anymore but when I grew up there, the weather was crazy.
Anyway, they and their fans soldiered on through that drizzle and it was a great show! My girl (pictured above in her home-brewed T-shirt) and I brought some friends who had never seen ZZ Top and they had a good ol' time too.
