I also has VIP diamond passes and want to a show with 4 friends.. The seats and show were great. Having seen ZZ Top before I was really looking forward to the meet and greet. Which Was a major disappointment. We couldn't shake their hands... Get anything signed.... They did not converse with the fans at all.. So instead of saying it was a meet and greet. They should have said " you can stand next to them and get a picture taken by some chick who has no clue how to use a camera".. Pablo was a nice guy.. But the young lady who was doing the talking was a rude little snot and thought she was entitled.. She acted like she was high and mighty or something. Talking back to fans waiting in the room. Being from Texas myself. I can tell you that Hollywood and stardom has taken over the Texas boys. It's a real shame. To even have fans at this stage in th game is huge. The least they could do is look over these complaints and see that they are fixed. And inform fans of what they are REALLY paying for .

    Some comments:
    1. We are caretakers of guitars and other musical instruments. Fine instruments are meant for what they are made for... to make music. Who started signing instruments and why do people feel a need to have guitars signed? This practice seems strange to me. I have plenty of BFG autographs. None are on guitars.
    2. I was lucky to become a Lifetime member of the ZZ Top International Fan Club in 1983. Since that time, I have received everything that was promised. This including two free tickets to a show, of my selection, for every year that there was a ZZ Top tour. Meet and greets were also received, when possible. I am very grateful that the contract was honored, in full.
    3. Remember, it is show BUSINESS. There are many entities involved. The band itself is only a part of it. There are surrounding forces involved that may impede what the purchaser of the newer 'packages' that are offered finally receives.
    4. In the many shows that I have attended I have got to meet the band, Pablo (the tour manager), Elwood Francis and other tour staff. I have never been disappointed with any person that I have met and had the privilege to meet and talk with. I have great respect for the entire ZZ Top staff and management. I have many great memories and have experienced great excitement when attending ZZ Top shows.
    5. It is not easy to orchestrate a summer long tour that lasts many months. Logistics and conditions are ever changing. Remember this is rock and roll. It is not similar to buying a number 2 value meal at McDonalds. Often the band and tour are under great pressure to move out and get to the next gig. The demands on the band members are intense during a tour. Everyone wants a piece of them.
I am planning to attend a ZZ Top show at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI next weekend. One thing that I always keep in mind… be cool and lose, do not push it and create great expectations within myself. The band and tour staff will give what they can under the circumstances. I believe that it is my attitude that allows me to enjoy what I experience.

dallas failure. i have 6 diamond vip front row seats. when i got there they were second row seats. the email said be there at 5 pm for ticket pickup and we assumed meet and greet. it was over 100 degrees in dallas and we got there at 5 pm for NOTHING. NOTHING. we got out tickets and sat for an hour. they wouldnt even let us shop until 6. zztop played at 9:30 pm! then they told us when we picked up our zztop vip tag we have photo op after the band played at 10:40..which the concert was running 30 minutes late so that put it after 11. who wanted to stay after being in the 100+ degrees heat for 5 hours. not only did we have row 1 seats but were given row 2, but when the zztop started the band authorized security to immediately open the front up so we had crazed fans crowding in our seats and in front of us and all around us. i asked security what the hell was going on and he said "its up to the band they open up the front when show starts." i said "why the hell did we buy these high priced seats then. ?" h e just shook his head. it was a ripoff from the 5 pm to the 11 pm ending. and the accoustics sucked. i've a huge fan of zztop and have seen then solo, with kid rock and with lynnard skinnard but i will never go again. this even source is the biggest rippoff i have ever seen. i pay front row for concerts and sporting events monthly. SAVE UR MONEY. ITS A RIPOFF!!!!

Saw show in Atlantic city and Baton rouge. could not get the Diamond package passes for these events. Its my 22nd wedding anniversary so we flew from Baton Rouge to San Antonio because we were able to get hold of two diamond VIP passes. We received NOTHING that the venue promised. ZIP! We flew in from NY for this show and although I'm a huge fan i was disappointed and would not do that trip again at that venue!
the meet and greet was really just a quick photo then exit that way please. don't ask the band questions, don't shake hands (i understand why) and No autographs. that's not a meet and greet.

I took my 7-yo son to Whitwewater to see ZZ TOP for his first concert...What a F*#@ing Shame!!!
We too had VIP Passes - EPIC FAIL!!!...NO ONE KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING...SPENT THE ENTIRE NIGHT IN THE PREFFERED SEATING TRYING TO SEE OVER AND AROUND SRO FANS WHO WERE ON THE RAMP AND FENCE IN FRONT OF US...SEVERAL OF US TRIED EVERYTHING TO GET THE VENUE EMPLOYEES TO HANDLE THE SITUATION.

MY SON LOST INTEREST...HE TOOK HIS ZZ TOP T-SHIRT OFF AS SOON AS WE HIT THE TRUCK...DIDN'T WANT TO LISTEN TO ZZ ON THE WAY HOME. I GUESS THE BOYS HAVE LOST QUITE A FEW FANS AFTER THIS FIASCO!!! WHAT A SHAME!
