Good call!, Tejas is a great album! the trouble i now find with deciding which is my fav, is that opinions change all the time, especially mine! No doubt it is impossible to say which is your overall fav album or even fav track, it depends on what is your fav at that time! I can have a 'Top' CD playing consistantly in my car for days or even weeks then you remember another of their CD's and you then listen to that one for ages, very difficult isn't it?
Well AVOR_________It is about to be known with your Question~ My Favorite ZZ Top Album was one of their Greatest Classics of all Time__________Back in the Good Old Days of the year__1979__The Album was ~~Tejas~~And the Slow moving song that memorized me was ~~Asleep in The Desert~ ______That one song was Smooth and Relaxing~~Most of all that one piece of the solo with the Slide of that Guitar~~From there I was hooked~ And if I may say so, the rest of the Album was a Master piece in itself~~Yes...1976 was the year I found ZZ Top in my hands...To Enjoy and Play as I was growing up in the Desert at the time~~Lived in the out skirts of Nevada~~for the time being~~Death Valley was where I learned to drive a Big White Convertible Car ~~with my parents of course~ Just seemed to go with all of the Mountains & Valleys &Desert &the Open Air~~~So that my friend is my Answer ~~ Tejas~ 1976 Classic~:)

Oh, wow how to pick one. I usually sit on the fence and say it's whatever album/track I'm playing at the time. Though I do have a particular fondness for La Grange :-) And I'm a sucker for a good live album.
Tres Hombres is a keeper for sure. In keeping with the old saying "Quality over quantity" it is hard for me not to pick the studio side of Fandango. All 6 of those songs are just killer! The fade out ending on Nasty Dogs And Funky Kings is the best you will ever hear.
My favorite track of all time is Brown Sugar on the first album. It has no equal. Just my humble opinion.

Hi there,
Here are my favorite albums :
Eliminator - Afterburner - Recycler (The trilogy in fact).
I know most of you won't agree, but these albums really made me discover ZZ TOP in the 80's.
Now that I've been practicing the electric guitar for 4 years, with a blues orientation, I appreciate more and more the first albums.
Antenna was also a good one.
man so sorry about it :( by mistake I put "Afterburner" instead of "Recycler" album, after send I realized it (right list below), thanks.
