I did try to contact this company via website, email and telephone call. weeks in advance with no reply. I finally received a call back the night before the show. Like I said earlier, I'll never use this service again. BTW: check out the other internet blogs regarding the quality of Ground Control's Service. Don't ever go by mine or any other single complaint. There are MANY. Ticketmaster was cheaper and far more reliable.
Sorry you feel that way. My opinion is they or any other band OWES us nothing. I follow cause the music, not what I can get from them. Been to a few meet n greets and there are alot of bands you get less from. Had a problem regarding question about VIP tickets and had no problem from groundcontrol. Got the answers. All VIP pkgs are WILL CALL. No tickets will be mailed, at boxoffice night of show, and your Package is what you receive in mail. Sorry to hear you had problems. I did not get VIP pkg cause it is GA and didnt want to stand all the time. Got good seats through ticketmasters (3rd row) for upcoming San Antonio Show.
wade(ctrl) Ground Control: making people wait until the night before a concert to see if tehy get theor tickets is BS and unprofessional. Here I am waiting weeks to see my tickets and teh night before I am out buying tickets to see ZZ Top at the Snoqualmie show because I want my wife and I to see them. How is a person supposed to plan a trip, and places to stay when they dont have their tickets the night before when I have an email that says I should have seen tehm several weeks ago. I will NOT EVER use your service again. In addition, your website seems like a bogus site as well. You already have windows permanently showing you have heavy call volumes therefore you cannot deal with your buyers or callers. I received no response to my inquiries sent to your site, until I sent three more with vulgar messages to get your attention. Never never will you get my business again
ground(ctrl) is the company who hosts the website, and also sells ticket and VIP packages for ZZ Top.
@purplecat Once we receive the tickets from the promoter, we will ship them out (this usually happens 2-3 weeks before the event) In the case this doesn't happen, please contact us at 877-GND-CTRL (M-F 9-5 PDT) or http://support.groundctrl.com and we'll make sure you're on a Will Call Box Office list.
I PURCHASED 4 TICKETS IN JUNE THROUGH THIS SITE "GROUND CONTROL" THE CONCERT IS LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY AND I HAVE NO TICKETS. I CALLED THEM AND THEY CLAIM THE PROMOTER HAS NOT YET SENT THEM THE TICKETS. WTF..... I HAVE RESERVE SEATS-- AND CANT GET THE TICKETS. THEY CHARGED $23.98---SHIPPING AND HANDLING-- AND I HAVE NO TICKETS......
