I was fortunate enough to catch ZZ Top at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL, just a few years back (2006?). This music hall, designed for live musical and theatrical production, is a GREAT venue to see the band, since the acoustics are very good and there's not a "bad" seat in the house. Please do more of these kind of venues, if it means doing two-nighters, as I have a real aversion to mobbed stadiums and sports events. A lot gets lost in the mega-productions - you're almost better off buying the video and watching it at home.
