Good news! I just received an email from whitewater and if you purchase VIP (or any other) tickets from the ZZ Top website they will be honored and VIP tickets will be at the VIP counter.

    Here is the email string:

The tickets will be at the VIP gate if you purchased the tickets through the ZZ top website. We ask that you bring your ID to verify the name.

    Thanks Catherine

We will honor tickets from the ZZ Top's website. The warning pertains more to other ticket vender's, stub hub, craigslist and sites similar to that. I hope this helps!

    Consumer Warning:

Tickets obtained from sources other than the Whitewater Amphitheater Box Office or Thundertix may be lost, stolen or counterfeit and will not be honored. Know who you are buying from and ask any of our helpful staff should you have any further questions or concerns.

    Thanks,

And finally this final statement from the Whitewater website - in the ZZ TOP ticket section - REALLY scared me off:
"Consumer Warning: Tickets obtained from sources other than the Whitewater Amphitheater Box Office or Thundertix may be lost, stolen or counterfeit and will not be honored. Know who you are buying from and ask any of our helpful staff should you have any further questions or concerns."
I refuse to spend $500 on two tickets...and show up...and have them not honor the tickets because they weren't purchased from ThunderTix.
Just way too many disconnects between the ZZ TOP website and the WhiteWater website......Who the hell is the promoter for this show??!!?? Are these two parties not talking??!!??

Yeah - I was going to go to this show.....But here are the negatives that turned me off to this show....and I LOVE ZZ TOP!!
    - The personnel at Whitewater have no idea as to what is going on.
    - Whitewater will not allow blankets or chairs in.
    - Whitewater is actually a SMALL venue - limited by the real estate/location.
    - The good VIP seats are to the side??!!?? makes no sense.
    - And finally....The personnel at Whitewater have NO IDEA what is going on........

Not feeling the luv about this show. No one at whitewater knows anything about tickets purchased on this site and they say no early entry not even for VIP. They don't know anything about a meet an greet. Sounds like a bad plan they put together.

Yea I feel your pain...... I paid 500 and looks like everyone gets in at same time and standing room only is first come first serve. Sounds like the line will be very long at 7:30.

Whitewater told me all is general admission. Their perfered seats are of to the side of the stage.
