1. ZZ Top had to pull out of their upcoming show in Warsaw, Poland next month. The band released the statement below:

"We are disappointed that we will not be coming to Warsaw to perform next month. We've only had very positive experiences whenever we've played in Poland and look forward to performing there again in the future." A representative for the band pointed out that other projected tour dates had to be deferred in order to build the Ursynalia date into ZZ Top's touring schedule, adding, "Honoring the terms of performance contracts is fundamental to the touring business in every country in which ZZ Top has ever appeared. We regret that the band's fans in Warsaw will not be able to see them there next month but we had no choice in the matter in light of the promoter's non-compliance."

Sharp Dressed Men Of ZZ TOP
Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill And Frank Beard ‘InTheStudio’ For 10x Platinum Album Eliminator 30th Anniversary.

Dallas, TX - MARCH 18, 2013. North American syndicated Rock radio show and website InTheStudio: The Stories Behind History’s Greatest Rock Bands goes to Houston, Texas via Memphis Tennessee for the 30th anniversary of the ten million selling album Eliminator from ZZ Top. The little ole band from Texas carved out a unique niche in 1970s rock, but it would be the March 1983 release of Eliminator that would take ZZ Top from ‘bad and nationwide’ to international super stars. The introduction of synthesizers had actually occurred on ZZ Top’s 1981 album El Loco, but the sound was perfected along with their songwriting on Eliminator which delivered three hits “Gimme All Your Lovin’”, “Sharp Dressed Man”, and “Legs”. Billy Gibbons tells host Redbeard why Memphis was such an important place for ZZ Top to record many of their most popular albums.
